I suggest you break this project up and set some deadlines for yourself. For example
1) Have the cover and house drawing done by Tuesday, 9/4.
2) Tuesday, 9/4: Pick out your photos for the characters and write one of them.
3) Wednesday, 9/5: Write two more character descriptions.
4) Thursday, 9/6: Write two more character descriptions.
5) Now you have 5 days to write your version of what you think happened.
